Johannes Scotus Erigena

What I got from the reading is that God is everything around us. "We ought not to understand God and creation as two things distinct from each other, but as one and the same." We are all brothers and sisters of God. We are all the same.

Erigena explains that we are God, God is inside each and everyone of us and everything. He is the creator of everything, "The creator of all things created in all things..."

He talks about the term "nothing" that is the divine goodness. Nothing is no existing thing, but when divine goodness is identifying by sight of our minds, we see everything. Nothing can be found in all things.

"When is begins to appear in its theophanies, it is said to proceed as though from nothing into something." We have a divine appearance of everything around us, we see the appearance of God.
